This fantastic group of animated Tikis, wickedly designed and sculpted by Thomas Kuntz, is sure to be the ultimate centerpiece for your Tiki bar or Tiki Hut!
Each piece will be “ built to order” at the artist’s California studio upon purchase.

About the show….
Three fierce Tiki Drummers are the stars of this animated scene with a custom fountain engineered and sculpted specifically for this project. There are two special mechanical Tikis on the base that act as secret switches. A pull of the Tiki’s tongue on the left and the Fountain flows while the hut lights up with 7 colorful miniaturized theatrical lights hidden inside additional Tikis!
By pulling out the Tongue on the Tiki on the right the main figures begin drumming! The speed of the drumming can be adjusted to your suit your mood. Above the Trio of Tikis is an animated trophy head that swings while appearing to “ sing along” opening and closing his mouth as the drummers drum.
The incredibly detailed original sculptures and ornamental pieces for this were made from clay then cast in a hybrid urethane resin. Natural bamboo , woven material is used for the roofing and trim. Wood is used for the foundational structure.
The figure’s motions are all controlled by old school cams, cranks and levers made of Aluminum, brass and steel machined in TJK’s California workshop. Three motors drive the system while a miniature pump with flow control supplies the fountain. The entire system runs on 12 VDC.
*A small mp3 sound unit can be added if desired to the unit (at additional cost) though usually Tiki Bar owners have their own larger, fuller stereo systems.
Because of the labor intensive nature of these pieces please allow approximately 6-8 weeks for the build. No returns no refunds.
The Dimensions:
36” Tall X 22-5/8” wide X 13” deep
Due to the size ,complexity this piece cannot be sent through standard mail carriers.
Pick Up:
It can be picked up from the artist’s workshop in Canoga Park California ( with a little tour if you wish)
….or the buyers can arrange special insured using their own trusted “ white glove” carrier sources.
These will be listed individually with an EDITION NUMBER ( example # 1 of 9)
Each Trilogy of Tiki will have a sculpted name plaque on the back with the edition number carved into it along with a certificate of authenticity, some shop notes and instructions.
